7 Important Points For Your Stair Lift Installation

To obtain this measurement to the top of your staircases, to continue your measurement tape until it extends on all treads from the staircase and the end measurement from the band to the landing at the bottom where the stage touches. How many inches is the landing lower than the top of the higher landing? Document this number.

2. To supplement the staircase to the base of the staircase – to measure starting from the edge of the higher stage at the edge of the lower stage.

3. Width – to measure the width of your staircase of wall to the width of wall or interior of the staircase. In most cases it will be wall to be wall.

4. Lower release – if there is a wall or a door at the bottom stages, place the beginning of the measurement at the beginning of the reinforcement or wall or door and to continue outside until you reach the bottom of your wall of stage. Note: This should be done if you have a wall (landing) or as well if it carries it to the top of the stages and to add a measurement and a mark of the number eight (8) which like “higher release”. Three last measurements (5, 6, and 7) will make it possible for the manufacturer to preset the angle of the seat of your stair lift at the factory.

5. Rise in a STAGE – to measure the size of a staircase. It is the base of one tread to the next one.

6. Tread of a STAGE – to measure the width of a stage. It is the area which you walk above. To measure from before the stage with the back of the stage.

7. Diagonal of a STAGE – to measure the length starting from an edge of a stage at the end of the next one. Similar at stage 1 but instead of the whole length of staircase, to measure only the length between two stages.

Be sure to put bath and tub caulk around the back and sides to give a clean finished look.

Let your water connection hoses hang down to be hooked up at the shutoff valves after you have installed the vanity top.

3. Replace the Toilet. Turn off the water to this area. The toilet is bolted by by two bolts, one on each side of the bowl on the floor. Toilets can be purchased as a whole unite (usually called “Toilets to Go”) from most building supply companies. Once you have removed the bolts, pull the toilet up and over the bolts in the floor. Remove the old wax ring, clean up the area a much as possible. This will ensure a clean seal for the new toilet. Once clean, place a new wax ring around the flange (open hole) in the floor. Set new toilet on top of bolts and press down to the floor. The wax ring is being smashed into the toilet to create a tight seal. Replace the nuts on the bolts and place new covers over the nuts.

Doing just these few things can make a big difference in the entire look of your bathroom. It can give life to any décor or change the entire feel of the room.

3 Big Do It Yourself Shed Mistakes and How to Avoid Them

As you probably know it’s easy to look back at mistakes you’ve made in the past and know what you should have done better.
